Have you looked at SlimDevices as a possible solution? I use the slim server to dish up my itunes library over the wireless network to my home stereo. Would be nice if I could use the browser interface from my Nokia 770 but I can't get it to connect to my laptop for some reason. I generally have two servers, one delivering 32kbit for BT DUN delivery via a 1X cellphone link, the other at 64kbit for WiFi delivery.
