Finally is has arrived
Now I finally got it. I have to say that I’m really impressed how easy it is to use. The start-up wizard did pretty much everything I needed and I got Internet connection up right away. It’s a shame that I can’t use the WLAN at the office because of the VPN, but with 3G it worked also nicely.
Here is a photo of it on my desk. Sorry about the quality, but my hands were sort of shaking because of the excitement.

if your work WLAN uses cisco’s vpn kit, you can hack yourself to connect to it:

Yep… I’ve been sort of looking through that maemo site, but havent actually got the courage to become root yet.
Anyway… I’ve been using the device for a day now and I have to say that I’m very much impressed with the display on this. Even the first thing that my girlfriend said when she saw the device was that “it has really nice display”. Also the standby mode is awesome. It takes really no time to get the device up. Battery life seems to be good also. I loaded the battery yesterday morning and it still shows full after testing every dam feature there is. I haven’t used too much WLAN yet though, but looks promising considering the battery.
